the location was perfect. the room was clean. i rarely heard bar noises. i found it a short walk to the train station and also the town center. i also got good parking around the area, priced well.
access to the rooms is round the back of the pub and felt a little unsafe.

This spot is great value for money. I especially liked the friendly staff. Ray, the landlord, is a true legend! The location is convenient, especially since it is close to town. Access to the train station is easy, a real plus for getting around. This place will be my go-to whenever I am in the area!
The decor felt a bit sparse, however it was a really minor detail that didn't affect my experience much.
